Excerpt From Distracted

Mya continued on her quest for an early morning shellacking. She walked into her closet and picked out the skimpiest negligee she could find.

“This will burn him up,” she thought with a devilish chuckle aloud, “I hope it sets his soul on fire.”

She then went into the bathroom to take a brief shower. After the shower, she went to the lavatory bureau to get candles. She placed three large vanilla scented candles on a tray sitting in the bedroom. She carried the tray down stairs and went into the closet near the front foyer.

“Let’s see. What shall I wear tonight? The mink? Or the sheared beaver? Sheared beaver it is,” she chuckled within herself. Mya flung the coat around her body and managed to slip into the coat as it gently flowed around her. The sheared beaver was of serious quality and flowed smoothly around her body like a stream of water around a smooth exposed rock in the center of its path.

“Look out Daddy,” she thought, “I’m gonna hurt you tonight.”

Mya sat down at the mirrors in the lavatory to get a look at her drag.

“Everything must be perfect for Jasper tonight,” she thought as she reached for the eye shadow. After a few strokes with the eye pen, Mya headed off down the hill towards the front gate to the pool house with love aids in hand.

The Browns’ estate was massive. The walk from the main house to the pool house would definitely let you know if you were out of shape.

Meanwhile, Jasper quickly opened the front door of the pool house. He went straight to the kitchen to get the assortment of whip creams. He neatly placed the creams on a platter and sat it next to the Jacuzzi. He walked over to the Jacuzzi switch and turned it on. He ran back into the pool house and went up the stairs to the loft to shower and change clothes.

As he opened the door with his half unbuttoned shirt, he heard a scurrying noise.

“WHAT THE?”

MOTIVES FOR DISTRACTED

During my adolescent years and early adulthood, I've always fantasized about being a singer. I've admired legends like: Luther Vandross, Stevie Wonder and please let me not forget my Mom's favorite balladeer Barry White. So I created the fictional character "Jasper Brown," to play the part of my R & B fantasy.

As a father of one son and two daughters, I often wondered what would happen to my children (particularly my daughters) if my career took precedence over my family.

Distracted is about a father (Jasper) that spends must of his time and effort building his music career. One day, he discovers his daughter "Jennifer" occupying her free time in an un-lady like manner.

After Jasper abruptly discovers Jennifer's licentious pastime, he is utterly shocked with her new preoccupation and struggles with the fact that his daughter is not pure as the driven snow. His little girl's actions resemble that of a trollop. What to do? What to do?

After much hiding from his wife Mya and the impending situation with his daughter, Jasper begins the all too necessary contemplation. Believe it or not, Jasper realizes that he loves his baby girl Jennifer and must rescue her from herself.

This work of fiction is a must read for all who desire to be the principal influence in his or her child's life.
